Autism, Asperger & ADHD in adults — support & guidance

Wondering whether you are on the autism spectrum? Screening guidance, therapy and support for teens and adults in Athens, available in English. We don’t issue a formal adult diagnosis — we point you to the right next steps.

Many people reach adulthood without ever being recognised as being on the autism spectrum. Some learned early to “camouflage” (masking) their difficulties, some were simply called shy or eccentric, and some began to wonder about themselves only after their own child, or another family member, was diagnosed.

If you recognise difficulties with social communication, intense fatigue after social situations, sensory sensitivities or a need for stable routines, and you ask yourself “am I on the spectrum?”, we can help you understand yourself better and find a clear starting point. We don’t issue a formal adult diagnosis ourselves — we offer screening guidance, therapy and support, and we point you towards a formal diagnosis where you need one.

Autism, Asperger syndrome and ADHD in adults

Adults look for answers using different words: “am I on the spectrum?”, “could I have Asperger syndrome?” or “might it be ADHD?”. These are related neurodevelopmental conditions that often co-occur and can resemble one another. Asperger syndrome today describes part of the autism spectrum, while ADHD co-occurs with autism in a large share of adults.

Our guidance does not focus on a single “label”, but on the whole picture: how these traits show up in your own daily life as an adult or teenager, and what support you may find useful.

How we can help

  • Introductory meeting: we discuss what is on your mind and what you would like to understand or achieve.
  • Screening guidance: we help you see whether the traits you notice fit the spectrum and what that means in practice — without issuing a formal diagnosis.
  • Therapy, support and groups: psychotherapy and counselling, and social skills groups for teens and young adults.
  • Next steps: we explain in person what we observed and suggest practical next steps — support with us, or a referral for a formal diagnosis where you need one.

And after?

Whatever the picture, we walk alongside you with suggestions: psychotherapeutic support, social skills groups for teens and young adults, guidance for the study or work environment, a referral for a formal diagnosis where you need one, or simply a better understanding of yourself. You decide whether and how to continue. The process is fully confidential and unhurried, at your own pace.
